Northwest Harris County Municipal Utility District #5
Bond and Director Election
NWHCMUD5 will hold a bond authorization and director election on
Saturday 05/07/2022. Voting will take place from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. at
the Fairwood Subdivision Clubhouse located at 14701 Spring Cypress Road
Cypress, TX.

Proposed Infrastructure Bonds: $100,000,000
Maintenance of existing potable water, sanitary sewer, and drainage
infrastructure and facilities.
Improvements to support aging assets.
Implementation of reclaimed water distribution system to reduce
demand on potable water supply facilities.

Proposed Park Bonds: $18,000,000
Extend over 15 miles of trails throughout the district.
Development of new park space.
Addition of landscaping within major road corridors.
Creation of new dog parks.

In addition to the bond authorization proposals there are seven candidates
on the ballot for two open NWHCMUD5 Director positions that are up for
election. These seven candidates come from seven different subdivisions
out of the 22 subdivisions within NWHCMUD5.

Candidates are Mr Jim Adams, Ms Jenny Leigh Aday, Mr Kelly D Cox, Ms Jordan R Griffith, Mr Chris
Marchiando, Mr Christoper Sanchez, and Mr Tim Walden.

The current directors of NWHCMUD5 (Mr Larry Milberger, Mr James
Adams, Ms Mindy Cernosek, and Mr H Bruce Gallun) encourage everyone
to come out and vote.
