October 2022 Project Updates
This is the ninth update of 2022. These are the projects on which we are working.
Website/Social Committee –
The Fall Garage Sale will be held on the 15th of October. We are coordinating with the surrounding communities. Rest assured, our gates will be open early, and the breakfast tacos will be on site! Be sure to stay tuned on the community website. Reserveatcypresscreek.com
Board elections –
Our annual resident meeting will take place on November 8th. We will have three board positions to fill. If you are interested in running for the board, please notify the board via the Yahoo email address by Wednesday, October 5th. Our next quarterly meeting will be held on October 11th at 7 pm at the pool. Bring your own chair.
Projects – None currently underway.
Here is a list of the projects that we have started and completed in the last 11 months:
Created new community website
Held a community fishing tournament
Held a Spring Eggstravaganza for Easter
Held a summer pool party
Replaced gate/security system
Replaced lighting at entrance of subdivision
Trenched the lake/added root barrier to prevent water consumption
Replaced our lake fountain
Re-stocked our lake with bass, blue gill and flathead minnows
Created underwater fish structure in lake
Removed six trees that were either dead or posing a safety risk
Trimmed seven trees that were overgrown or becoming problems
Replaced/created new vegetation areas at front of pool
Created new garden area at front of subdivision next to STOP sign
Removed all dead vegetation near entrance/exit of community
Hydro-seeded several dead areas of grass in/around lake
Recovered several sprinkler stations along Telge Rd.
Repaired over 100 sprinklers, risers, nozzles or underground connections
Replaced antiquated sprinkler control panels
Replaced/repaired underground broken wires controlling watering stations
Installed six battery operated sprinkler control systems
Replaced seven faded STOP signs/adjusted speed limit signage
Power washed pool deck and sidewalks around lake and on walking trail
Re-mulched playground landing area
Repaired damaged brick gate code kiosk at entrance
Installed collision post next to kiosk to prevent future damage
Repaired and painted well pumping station fence
Added roof over pumping station equipment
We are open for suggestions for projects in 2023. Please bring your ideas to the October and November public board meetings.
