Greetings, fellow homeowners,

At the end of 2024, the HOA Board had decided to mount an effort to spray all pine trees in our neighborhood with a mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol and water, in an effort to deter further spread of these pine beetles. We had an excellent turnout and were able to tackle every pine tree within a couple of hours. We are asking everyone that is fit and able to bring a pump pressure sprayer to join us at the pool house for the follow on and hopefully the final spraying on the 15th.

Saturday, March 15th.
Beginning at 9:00 am. 

When you arrive at the pool house, we will provide you with the appropriate mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol and water and organize you into teams to cover the various areas in the neighborhood.  Again, our goal is to spray every pine tree in our neighborhood, from its base to a height of 7-8 feet. While this mixture of alcohol and water is no guarantee of prevention, we have been advised it’s the best and easiest deterrent currently available.
