Board Nominees for 2023!
Hello Residents,
Please find below our Board Nominees for the coming year 2023! We are voting on 3 positions as Ross Walton and Sherry Martin are rolling off the board and interim Board Member, Patricia Thibodeaux who stepped in for outgoing Board member last year is running for that spot again. You can find a short bio of these candidates below and in your email inbox. Please let the board know if you did not receive an email from the board with their information.
Hello Residents!
My name is Phillip Alexander III and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for a position on the
TRACC HOA Board of Directors. I’m looking forward to working with other board members,
volunteers and the HOA management team to continuously make our community a great place
to live.
For those who don’t know me, I’m originally from Detroit,Mi. My family and I moved to Cypress
8 years ago. I have lived in the neighborhood for a year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time
here. I have an amazing wife, who I’ve been married to for 12 years, and a 9-year-old son. In
my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading and listening to audiobooks. One of my coolest moments
was making pizza waffles with my son on National TV.
TRACC Board members must know how to plan and understand the budget, manage the
association’s finances, deal with disputes, discuss and carry out ideas, and listen to the
membership.
It’s been an honor engaging the communities of Cypress and Greater Houston for 8 years. I am
an alumnus of the University of Houston- Victoria and currently own a small catering business. I
also worked as a Ministry Director at Community of Faith Church. I was responsible for
negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, handling the offering, recruiting volunteers, and
implementing new programs and initiatives.
I currently volunteer on the Social Welcoming committee. Therefore, I know what this job entails
and believe I have the necessary experience to do it well. I am also very enthusiastic, giving my
all to every job I’m given.

Six years ago, when Kathy and I were wanting to downsize from our 2-story home, we found the
Reserve at Cypress Creek. We loved the smaller gated community, the well-maintained homes,
and the central common area around the “lake”. After moving here, we met our neighbors and
became involved in the community, volunteering to help with work projects and social functions.
I continue to volunteer and recently participated in several neighborhood projects, including the
survey, repair, and re-establishment of the neighborhood sprinkler system.
I believe volunteering to help maintain and improve the community is important, and I now want
to become a member of our homeowner’s board. After retiring from a 35-year career in
information technology sales and sales management, I re-invented myself, and after attending
schools in south Florida, I became an accredited marine surveyor. I just finished my sixteenth
year as a marine surveyor, assisting several major insurance companies with marine damage
claims.
As a self-employed small business owner, I have learned to not only do the work, but also
manage the business to include billing and receivables, budgets, tax filings, State of Texas
reports, etc. I believe some of these skills apply to managing the various aspects of the
neighborhood.
Our community, the Reserve at Cypress Creek, is a very special place for the 132 homeowners, young and old. The community, like a small business, requires ongoing attention, and residents willing to commit time to help maintain and improve this place we call home. I am willing to make the commitment and would be honored to be a board member.
Thanks, P.S. I am also the guy who walks Barkley past your house 2 or 3 times a day!

My name is Pat Schoeller and I have resided on Stoneridge Park Ln since 2003. My family has lived in The Reserve at Cypress Creek since 2003. We watched this community develop from empty, muddy lots to a beautiful, well-maintained neighborhood. We have met and have remained friends with many people in our community.
I work as a Master Technologist at Intel Corporate since March and was previously employed by HP since 1996.
I’m married 28 years to Cindy and we have three boys: Thomas, John, and Paul. Patrick recently joined Intel Corporation and previously worked for Hewlett-Packard leading a development team creating new technology for HP ProLiant servers. Cindy is an independent consultant for Discovery Toys. We are active members of Cypress Woods HS Theater and Choir and our church, Prince of Peace Catholic Community any family has lived in The Reserve at Cypress Creek since 2003.
I am the former Vice-President of the RACC Homeowner Association and former Landscape committee chair. While I have assisted with the pool and now the gate, I believe this is my time to “step up” and contribute to the community. I have before and look forward to contributing again as a Board Member in 2023.

Hello, my name is Patricia Thibodeaux. I am new to our neighborhood. With the
neighbors I’ve met, I feel very much at home and, I look forward to meeting more neighbors in time. Previously, I lived in a smaller neighborhood off Telge. It was a new neighborhood at the time and, once the neighborhood was completed, the builder gave control of the Homeowners Association to the residence. I wanted to be involved so, I volunteered to be on the ACC. Since our HOA was not established, I create forms and documented procedures in accordance with our deed restrictions.
After being on the ACC for a few years, I was elected as President of the HOA and was on the Board until I moved out of the neighborhood. After many years of working in Corporate America, I had decided to follow my calling and become a nurse. It’s in my nature to help people and now, I feel fortune to do so as my profession.
I would like to become a member of the HOA Board of Reserve at Cypress Creek because I would like to be involved in keeping our neighborhood a welcoming and great place to live. I feel I have the knowledge and experience necessary to be a contributing member of the board and hope to be given the opportunity to serve our neighborhood.
Thanks for your consideration.
Tricia Thibodeaux
