Residents,

 Two documents have been added to the website: meeting minutes from the Special HOA Meeting and the new pool rental form.

We have already had a request for a pool rental, so we felt it important to release the new pool rental form for 2026. 

At the HOA meeting on October 7,2025, the neighborhood asked the Board to reduce the availability of the pool for rentals. The Board discussed and came to an agreement on the following:

1. No more than one rental per weekend (Friday,Saturday,Sunday).

2. Two rentals per week, but not on consecutive days.

3. No rentals allowed during significant holidays (the holidays are on the new form).

4. 2-Hour minimum at a rental fee of $100.

5. 3-Hour maximum at a rental fee of $150.

The Board has been asked to send out a notification reminding residents that dogs that are not behind a fence must be on-leash. This is not just within our Community Deed Restrictions, but is also Harris County Law. Section 4 of the Harris County Animal Regulations states that all dogs and cats must be kept under restraint while in the unincorporated areas of Harris County, Texas.  

Thank you to all the residents who volunteered in the pond clean up. Neighborhood involvement helps keep HOA cost down for all residents. 

Another thank you to all the residents who came to the special HOA meeting on January 20, 2026. The meeting minutes share a detailed account. Mr. Buckley shared a presentation about MUD#5’s planned trials system extension to go around the green space on the southwest side of the neighborhood that borders Cypress Creek Preserve. Our neighbors who were present gave a lot of feed back to Mr. Buckley who reported back to the MUD#5 Board of Directors. For the residents looking to learn more information on the subject, the MUD#5 Board meeting is every third Thursday of the month. The next planned meeting is 9:00 am February 19, 2026 at the Fairfield Rec Center, 14701 Spring Cypress Drive, Houston, TX 77429.
