This is the sixth update of 2023.
These are the projects on which we are working.
Deed Restrictions – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! At the July 11th public quarterly board meeting we will be scheduling our first Deed Restrictions/Guidelines & Policies revision meeting. We need volunteers to help us look at our existing documentation and update it.
Since the opening of The Reserve at Cypress Creek, there has only been one significant revision (addendum) to our Deed Restrictions Articles (2012). Many residents have suggested in our surveys and via email communication, that we adapt our enforcement on street parking, yard landscaping, golf cart usage, and signage. The board feels that it is in everyone’s best interest to explore changes to the Articles so as to be in better tune with the needs of our residents.
We anticipate that this project will take several months to complete. Volunteers should expect to commit time to this endeavor and meet on a monthly basis until this process is finalized. Our Deed Restrictions, Guidelines & Policies should be “living” documents and should reflect the values of residents within the community. Please consider volunteering for this important task.
Landscaping – color vegetation around the front entrance and the pool was recently changed out by our service provider. Community volunteers are continuing to do some fine tuning on vegetation at the corner of Telge Rd. and Louetta Rd. We will be renting a commercial chipper in the next two weeks to process the trees and vines we are removing.
Sprinkler system – we hired a professional sprinkler company to change out two backflow preventers on the culdesacs for Wendover Creek Ct. and Stoneridge Park Ln. Both valves were leaking and we were unable to make the repairs ourselves.
Pool - our pool committee continues to do an outstanding job in maintaining our pool and clubhouse. We have had three private pool reservation requests already this year. We only had two for all of last year. The pool is open seven days a week.
